THR attended the 34th Edition of FITUR named "Moving Tourism"

THR attended, on January 22nd and 23rd, Fitur 2014 to hold strategic meetings with key clients, as well as, get to know the tourism offer of the participating countries and regions.

This 2014, Fitur had over 120,000 professional participants (3% more than in the previous edition), along with people of the general public, which had the weekend to explore the 54,000 square meters of exhibition.

Prior to the opening of Fitur the 7th Tourism Leadership Forum, organized by Exceltur, was held where Spain announced that the country took the third place in world tourism from China (after France and the United States).

A figure of 60.6 million tourists visited Spain in 2013, representing a 5.6% increase over the previous year, a record in history. In Spain foreign visitors generated revenues of 45,000 million in foreign exchange.

Regarding the representation of international leaders, the fair has been visited by more than 50 tourism ministers from Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America."
