The project 'Design of a route around the Coffee Cultural Landscape' in Colombia is starting to take shape

The project in place for the 'Design of a Route around the Coffee Cultural Landscape' has already started to bear fruit. The project was instigated by the technical committee integrated by the four regional governments (gobernaciones) included in UNESCO's declaration.

Paisaje Cultural CafeteroAccording to the Director for Tourism, Carolina Bustamante, the preliminary results handed in by the tourism consulting company THR show that the Coffee Cultural Landscape has potential to offer 25 out-of-this-world experiences from the following 4 categories:

Savouring the culture behind the best coffee in the world. Enjoying unique natural surroundings and landscapes. Experiencing great adventures in exclusive settings. Learning about traditional crafts. In turn, Sonia Huerta from the Spanish tourism consulting company THR added that "The idea behind this proposal is to highlight the general value of the Coffee Cultural Landscape. This is based on its rich coffee culture and landscape which are both so unique they have been declared Cultural Heritage".

The consulting company concluded that the final result, including the name of each of the routes in the Coffee Cultural Landscape, will be revealed in one and a half months.
