Playa de Palma plan reduced by 40% and 60% of tourist accommodation

The comprehensive Action Plan on upgrading of Playa de Palma plans to phase in the next ten years between 40 and 60 percent of the 43,000 hotel rooms currently existing in this tourist area of the Balearic capital, while seeking to change the model increasing tourist hotel category two to four stars.

The international passenger traffic, over the pre-crisis levels

The IATA associated airlines with increased their volume of passengers carried by 11.9% during the month of June, according to the international association of airlines. This means that passenger volumes now stand between 1% and 2% above pre-crisis levels. However, IATA suggests that the rhythm of recovery is not uniform: while in Europe the growth is 7.8%, Asia is 15.5%.
