The “Maremagnum” complex is located on one of the antique quays of the Barcelona Port and it

is located right to the sea. The challenge consisted in revitalizing that area of the city creating a product sufficiently attractive capable to turn it into an outstanding complement of the tourist offer of the city.

THR carried out a fundamental role in the design of the functional aspects of the complex, elaborated the definition of the strategy and tourism-commercial development, the management model of the spaces and mix of commercial uses as well as its promotion to the public space use, being responsible basically of the development of the following projects:

• Definition of the product concept

• Structuring of the services mix

• Business model

• Design of the Marketing plan

Situated right to the sea and in the centre of the city on the area of 23.000 m2, the “Maremagnum” complex receives annually more than 15 millions visitors obtaining many benefits, revealing itself as a commercial and leisure activity complex which represents a “Must See” either for the residents or the international tourists.
